Designed for weddings and professional events, the Orangerie de Romy combines charm and functionality in a bright, inspiring setting, featuring an adjoining catering area for optimal culinary service.

Wellness Area

A place to slow down and recentre yourself: our wellness area invites you to disconnect with a panoramic sauna, jacuzzi, cold plunge, and salt cave. Open daily from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. (until 3 p.m. on event days).

Heated Indoor Pool

Heated and covered, our pool lets you enjoy the pleasures of water all year round, in a serene and light-filled atmosphere.

Pétanque Court

Shaded by trees and softly lit at nightfall, it’s the perfect spot to play, relax, and share simple, convivial moments.

Bread Oven

Rekindled on request for your events, the Domaine’s old bread oven keeps alive the spirit of times past sharing, craftsmanship, and the simple joys of life.

Preserving resources, rethinking usage, adapting our facilities here, every technical choice is also a choice of coherence and meaning. These commitments have earned us the Ecogîte label,in recognition of a holistic approach where comfort goes hand in hand with sustainability.

Wood Pellet Heating

Replaces fossil fuels and provides heat for the entire Domaine.

Solar Thermal Panels

Supply hot water, heat the pool, and maintain comfortable temperatures in the gîtes during the off-season.

Waste Reduction

Waste sorting, composting, and the use of eco-friendly cleaning products are part of our daily routine.

Water Management

A private well covers part of our water needs, notably for the wellness area. Irrigation is supplied by an underground network fed by rainwater tanks.

Energy Autonomy

LED lighting, low-consumption pumps, and a 36 kW photovoltaic roof help reduce our dependence on external energy sources.

Electric Charging Station

Available in the parking area to welcome more sustainable modes of transport.

The Story of Domaine de la Vialette

Nestled on the Causse de Sauveterre, Domaine de la Vialette is much more than a place to stay it is a place of memory. Its name comes from the contraction of via and villa, meaning “the little house by the road.” A simple expression that perfectly captures its essence.

The Domaine was taken over by Franck, later joined by Sandra, both driven by the desire to keep its story alive and continue it in their own way. This former 14th-century Caussenard farm has stood the test of time without ever losing its soul. It was the birthplace of Henri Cordesse, a key figure in the Lozère Resistance, and remains today a discreet yet precious witness to the region’s memory.

“Since 1993, our family has welcomed travelers here in search of peace, nature, and authenticity. Over the years, we have carefully restored the estate: the old sheepfold became guest rooms, the barns were transformed into gîtes, and a wellness area was added to complete the experience.
