Based in the Dordogne, Jeannette is the founder of France Baby-Sitter Service, an agency specialising in premium childcare for weddings, private events and luxury holiday across the Dordogne, Aveyron and surrounding departments.
Originally from the Netherlands, Jeannette fell in love with the Dordogne and made it her home. Drawing on that international life experience and several years working with families from around the world, she founded FBSS after identifying a genuine gap: the lack of a structured, reliable and truly high-end childcare service in France , particularly for weddings and luxury rentals.
What sets FBSS apart from a standard babysitting platform is above all a professional agency approach: Jeannette personally selects every carer, remains the main point of contact before, during and after the service, and ensures that every child is looked after with care, discretion and warmth, even in the most demanding settings: châteaux, estates and luxury hotels.
Her team of babysitters is locally based, multilingual (French, English, Dutch and German) and experienced in working within high-end environments.
For events with several children, a head babysitter can be appointed to coordinate the team in liaison with the wedding planner or venue.
