In Saint-Pierre-de-Nogaret, Lozère , the Deltour family have been raising sheep and dairy cattle for more than three generations. In 2024, Fabien and Clémence launched a new venture by opening their own farm dairy and creating Le Fermier Gourmand , producing artisan ice creams and frozen desserts , made daily using fresh milk from the farm.
More than twenty flavours are available , including traditional ice cream and frozen yoghurt made from either cow's or sheep's milk, alongside celebration desserts and ice cream logs. Their lemon sheep's milk frozen yoghurt won the Gold Medal at the Lozère Gourmande competition, and the Silver Medal at the Lyon Dairy Products Competition.
